MIR Trading is the sole distributors in Bangladesh for Fleetguard Inc. U.S.A who manufactures a range of Diesel Engine Filters inclusive of Lube Oil, Fuel & Air Filter elements. Fleetguard also manufacture the coolant resistor, which is unique to the Cummins Engine. A coolant additive is introduced to the cooling system through the Coolant Filter and this chemical component prevents corrosion from forming in major components such as cylinder liners and cylinder blocks thus resulting in longer life of Diesel Engines. All Filters are available exstock in Bangladesh.

The Cummins Regional Office in Singapore is equipped with the latest in training facilities. This training centre carries out technical training to distributor staff and customers. The regional office staff includes a Regional Service Manager and experts in the field of power generation, marine & other applications. The Regional Service Manager visits Sri Lanka often & carries out training of local service staff. His technical support is also available when called for.

Cummins generating sets are fitted with a Stamford Alternators manufactured by Newage Stamford of United Kingdom. Newage Alternators is a fully owned subsidiary of Cummins Inc. This Alternator is built for specific region. The main alternator & exciter insulation systems are impregnated for severe environments where sand, salt, sea spray, and chemical corrosion are installation factors. 125 degrees C temperature rise and Class H insulation system is also provided as standard.
